The Boer goat was developed in South Africa in the early 1900s for meat production. Mature Boer bucks weigh between 240-300 lbs, and mature does between 200-220 lbs.

Mini Rex Rabbits have a well-rounded back, well-developed and filled shoulders, midsection, and hindquarters. Their head is well-filled and set on a short neck, with thick ears.  They generally weigh between 2 and 4 pounds.

Our Animals

The chickens at HIS Kids Ranch are used for the production of eggs.  The eggs are collected each day and provide enough for the family and some to share.

Chickens

Bantam chickens are simply a mini-chicken.  They come in the same breeds as the traditional chickens.  At about 1/4 the size of standard chickens, their eggs are quite small.
